Terms of service

Effective 2026-10-26

Who this agreement is with

These terms are between you and Adduce Ltd, which runs Adduce. You accept them when you create an account, and they apply for as long as you use the service. If you’re agreeing on behalf of a company, you’re confirming you can bind it.

What the service is

Adduce is a product intelligence tool. You connect the tools your team already uses — product analytics, error tracking, support conversations, surveys, interview transcripts — and Adduce reads what comes back and organises it into evidence, themes, findings and briefs. Your team works on those inside a workspace: commenting on them, tracking objectives and key results against them, writing strategy from them.

Some of that work is done by AI models. Treat what comes out as a starting point for a decision rather than the decision itself.

We add features, change how existing ones work, and sometimes remove them.

Acceptable use

Don’t break the law with it, and don’t use it to harm anyone. Specifically: don’t try to reach another organisation’s workspace, don’t probe or interfere with how the service runs, don’t work around the limits we place on how often it can be called, and don’t resell access to it.

Upload only what you’re allowed to upload. Transcripts and support conversations usually carry other people’s words and personal details. You need a lawful basis for putting that material into Adduce, and having one is your responsibility, not ours.

Anyone you invite into your workspace is your responsibility too. What they do there counts as your use of the service.

Your data and who owns it

What you upload stays yours, and so does what Adduce makes from it in your workspace: evidence, themes, findings, briefs and the comments on them. We don’t claim ownership of any of it.

You give us permission to process that content for one purpose: running the service for you. That means storing it, indexing it, and sending it to the third-party providers whose models do the analysis. We don’t use it for anything else.

An organisation owner can export a workspace from inside the product, and the archive stays available for 7 days. Once a workspace is scheduled for deletion you can no longer export it, so take the copy first. How we handle personal information, and the providers that process it, is set out in the privacy policy.

Billing, plans and cancellation

Adduce is sold in plans, each with its own allowance for the AI work a workspace can run. What every plan includes, and what it costs, is on the pricing page — those are the figures that apply, not any figure quoted elsewhere. The largest plan is priced on enquiry.

Payments are handled by a third-party provider. Card details go straight to them and never reach us; what we send is the plan you chose, the identifiers for your account and organisation, and — the first time only — the email address of the person paying. Subscription charges recur until you stop them. Token top-ups are one-off charges.

An owner, or whoever holds the billing role, can cancel from inside the product; the last step happens on the payment provider’s own page. When a subscription ends, the workspace is held for 30 days and its contents are then purged — export anything you want to keep before that window closes.

Suspension and termination

We can suspend or close an account or a workspace that breaks the rules above, or where the law requires it. Where we can, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

You can leave whenever you like. Closing your own account takes effect straight away — unless you’re the sole owner of an organisation, in which case hand it to someone else or delete the organisation first. Deleting an organisation starts a 7-day grace period before its contents are purged. Once that’s run, treat the contents as gone.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Adduce is provided as it is. We don’t promise it will be free of faults, that it will be reachable when you want it, or that it will suit a particular purpose. We make no commitment to a level of service. We may take the service offline for maintenance, and we change how it works.

What Adduce produces is generated from the material you connect, and it can be wrong or incomplete. Read it as input to a decision. What you do with it is yours to answer for.

Nothing here limits what we are liable for where the law doesn’t allow it to be limited — including death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and fraud.

Beyond that: we aren’t liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost content or any indirect loss, and in total we are liable for no more than the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

This page carries an effective date at the top. When these terms change, that date changes with it. We don’t send a notification for every edit — the date is the thing to check. Carrying on using Adduce after a change means you accept the version then published.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you use Adduce as a consumer rather than for a business, nothing here removes rights your local law gives you.

Tell us before you take anything further. Most disagreements are quicker to settle by talking.
